In the textile industry segments, the sales of knitting machinery and weaving machinery are still growing, the sales of printing and dyeing machinery have increased from a decline, spinning machinery has declined, and the sales of chemical fiber and nonwoven machinery have generally continued to decline.

In terms of industry revenue, from January to March 2024, 852 textile machinery enterprises above designated size achieved operating income of 26.043 billion yuan, an increase of 13.12%, and the total profit of textile machinery enterprises above designated size was 1.762 billion yuan, an increase of 41.46%.

In terms of import and export, from January to March 2024, the cumulative total of China's textile machinery imports and exports was 1.651 billion US dollars, a decrease of 10.54%, of which, textile machinery imports were 599 million US dollars, a decrease of 17.70%; Exports were 1.051 billion US dollars, down 5.87% year on year.
